Kanye West Speaks Out Against Games With In-App Purchases

Rap artist, musician, and all-around swell guy Kanye West voiced his dismay at game companies that put in-app purchases in games intended for children in a series of tweets.

Kanye's tweets echoed what many parents feel when they allow their young children to play games on their iPads or other tablet devices. Most freemium, and even some premium games contain pop-ups and notices encouraging their players to spend money on in-app purchases. It's particularly shady when the games in question are intended to be played by children under the age of 5, billing parents who forget to lock purchases on their device with exorbitant fees.

This does make sense. The kid may buy stuff without knowing it, that might be their intention though haha.

On Android, once the card is on the device, the user has free reign over the bank information. No password needed other than a password to unlock the device.

I must admit, I don't particularly like microtransactions but maybe the guy should be paying more attention to his kid than just giving them an iPad and walking off?
