Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Testers Forced To Reinstall Games

4.8
Microsoft is bringing in the backwards compatibility program an “upcoming change” that will force players currently testing it to uninstall and reinstall a range of games. We've not been said what's happening on Xbox One but curiously enough the titles involved are all Rare's.

In total the games involved in this upcoming change are just eight, and all will come to retail with the Rare Replay collection, out in August for Xbox One. The games are:

Viva Pinata
Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise
Perfect Dark
Perfect Dark Zero
Kameo: Elements of Power
Jetpac Refuelled
Banjo-Kazooie
Banjo-Tooie

Backwards compatibility is now available only for Preview Program members, and will come to everyone else this fall. Microsoft has stated at E3 2015 that 100 games will be available at the launch of the program, and other 100 will arrive in time for the holidays.

I hate that it has to be in THEIR library. That kind of defeats the purpose. I own an Xbox One, but there is absolutely no incentive to buy one.

I'm sure once the program is completely tested and it's ready to be out this fall it will have the most popular 360 games available.

I believe it will have a load of them that's for sure they're just working out some kinks with certain games to run at optimum capacity

At least those games are not that in size like games usually are nowadays.
