Microsoft quotes Rocky in latest Xbox One video

4.7
Earlier today, Microsoft released a new video entitled "Best Games" on YouTube to promote both the Xbox One and the upcoming games for it.

The 30-second video contains voice over dialogue from the "Rocky" movie with Sylvester Stallone quoting the words, "Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It will beat you to your knees if you let it. Nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"

Whether the quote is a clever way of Microsoft showing how they are battling hard after so many setbacks over the past year with the console is anyone’s guess, but it’s an interesting way to promote the console.

The promotional video highlighting games comes just after Microsoft announced the forthcoming closure of its Xbox Entertainment Studios. The studio, which planned to bring flagship original video content to Microsoft's Xbox consoles, will still release its slate of shows and movies in development, such as "Halo: Nightfall." Microsoft also recently announced that sales of the Xbox One have doubled since it release a $399 version of Xbox One without Kinect.

The video itself promotes a host of games such as "Halo: The Master Chief Collection," "Sunset Overdrive," "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" and "Assassin’s Creed Unity," all of which are due out later this year on the Xbox One.

Triceracops Sorry microsoft, but your console has turned into an entertainment gimmick and being called a "gaming console" is a joke. I loved my 360 til it was all about the money. Greedy bastards glad I didnt buy this. You lost Bungie, Microsoft Studios, who cares now though you can skype and watch kardashians while playing a game, please. What the hell, why would I want this? Big fat slap to fthetechgame.orgop being lazy, get up, and use the controller. Wasting computing power that could be better assigned to rendering and graphics. I feel betrayed, so I moved to PSN. MS and XBL won't get another dime.

Agreed Again, Its basically a PC with limitations. Its becoming stupid now. Im not getting an Xbox One, Il keep my 360 and my RGH for all the 360 games. And il get a PC and play all of these games anyway.

I love the inspiration that Rocky has had. I thin this will be good revenue for Xbox One.
