Microsoft crediting players for March Xbox Live outage

4.4
Microsoft is issuing a free week of Xbox Live Gold for Xbox One owners who were unable to log into the service for a brief period of time last month, IGN reports.

The offer arrives in response to a service interruption on March 11, which emerged in the wake of Titanfall's release. The outage affected player matchmaking in Forza Motorsport 5 and Titanfall, and was resolved later in the evening.

Microsoft is currently informing affected users of the offer via Xbox Live's messaging service. Xbox Live Gold compensatory credit will be issued "soon."

Miss So Xbox One and 360 users are on different servers? I didn't get cut off like this on 360.

Yeah. That's also why we don't have dedi's for games like Ghosts on the 360 where it's still host-based. Not only that, but it takes me 6+ hours to DL a 6GB game on the 360 servers, when it only takes me an hour max on the One. Other than the occasional service hiccup, the Xbox One servers are miles ahead of what the 360 ones have.
