Microsoft crediting players for March Xbox Live outage

Microsoft is issuing a free week of Xbox Live Gold for Xbox One owners who were unable to log into the service for a brief period of time last month, IGN reports.

The offer arrives in response to a service interruption on March 11, which emerged in the wake of Titanfall's release. The outage affected player matchmaking in Forza Motorsport 5 and Titanfall, and was resolved later in the evening.

Microsoft is currently informing affected users of the offer via Xbox Live's messaging service. Xbox Live Gold compensatory credit will be issued "soon."

Event Yeah, it's great when a company owns up to their mistakes. I'm glad Microsoft stepped up and gave them a little in return.

If they don't 'Kiss up to their customer's' they will only get 100000's of complaints, so they done well ;D

When big things like this are released, you have to expect minor faults though
