Xbox One system update adds storage management, battery monitor

4.6
The Xbox One operating system had some peculiar quirks out of the box, and a system update that will propagate on February 11 will fix some of them.

In particular, it will allow users to see how much storage space they’re using on the console’s internal hard drive. It will also introduce a battery indicator for the controller, and compatibility with USB keyboards. Screenshot of the build below:

On March 4 an additional system update will revamp the console’s party system in preparation for the launch of Titanfall later that month.

“This is the first of many announcements and sneak peeks at features in the system updates. We’ve been carefully listening to your feedback and look forward to delivering many new features that will make Xbox One even better,” said Microsoft. “We’re just getting started and can’t wait to share more information in the coming weeks.”

Finally adding In storage management! One thing I would like them to add though would be Auto Sign-in without having to use the Kinect.

this is a good thing to, because when the Xbone automatically makes you install a 50gb game and its updates you could only have 10 games... which im not trying to brag but i pre ordered the xbox 360 and we had 4 people in my house that would play it and play diffrent games, well story is i have almost 250 games for it, i know its sad but yeah xD well seeing how its only me who plays my xbone hopefully theyll make a update so we dont have to install the game first because i want to have more than 10 games lol

Pretty good features such as the controller battery life. I never notice the flashing indercater on xbox controllers. i usually just wait until its dead (which usualy happens during a game were im doing the best i have ever done). Now we shall now like the 360

Really not fond of the XB1 OS, I just don't like the way it looks.

Pretty good features added, i'm sure this will help quite a lot of people when they want to find what they have been suing on their HDD.
