Battlefield 4 videos: PS4 vs Xbox One

Video footage comparing the Xbox One and PS4 editions of Battlefield 4 has begun to emerge online, providing further suggestions that the PlayStation version is technically superior.

Firstly, VideoGamer's early analysis suggests that Battlefield 4 features a subtler lighting engine on PS4, adding that the Xbox One's renders of polygonal models is "jaggier".

The commentators pointed out that both next-gen versions are commendably attractive.

Idk why but to me the xbox one seems better shading wise and lighting but ps4 has slightly more color detail and it sounded like the guys from the second video were like we know it seems like the xbox one is better but it because youtube 720p etc

I don't get how this shows the PS4 version is more "technically superior." Looks to me like a brightness difference which could be affected/adjusted by your TV and brightness settings lol. Either way, you never know what the real look is suppose to be. After all, the darker Xbox One version could be how it really is suppose to be.

hmm the shaders look better on xbox maybe because the brightness on the ps4 side is a bit too up but on the ps4 the fps is more stable

These videos will help me make my final decision for which console, although both are very close either way.
