Crytek takes websites down for 'suspicious activity'

4.6
Crytek (Crysis, Ryse: Son of Rome) has temporarily shut down four of its sites due to "suspicious activity" and will require users to change their passwords once the sites are restored, an email sent to Crytek account holders stated today.

The developer "acted quickly to take those websites offline for security reasons" notes an email sent to registered users of those sites, as reported by VG24/7.

Crytek.com, mycryengine.com, crydev.net, and mycrysis.com were all taken offline in response to the activity.

I honestly don't get why people call it a kid. It's some 30 year old dude in his moms basement.

let's be real. What they consider "suspicious" activity and what we do are very different.

How is that good? Some accounts may be at risk, it's good they took it down but it may be too late.
