Update: Xbox Live issues, Microsoft Investigating

Some folks are reporting that Xbox Live is having connection issues at present, and Microsoft has confirmed users may experience difficulties with connectivity. It said it is aware of an issue with signing in and connecting to XBL and are “hard at work to get you back online as soon as possible.” Currently the Xbox Live status page lists a Service Alert but with no details.

Users are reporting issues with starting games, Signing in, Buying content and issues with some apps.

Are you affected by the current issues with Live?

UPDATE: Xbox Status page now lists an issue with the LIVE network.

Hi guys temp fix to make your games load and stop freezing on start up.
Sign out of your profile, load the game up and then sign back in.
It should work as i have been trying to play fifa for hours then tried this and works.
Im guessing that it will work for all games apps and other media you want to play.
Not sure if someone has already suggested this BTW.

bigchukka My dash takes 30 mins to load then i had the worst time trying to update my 360 "for the beta".

I gave up yesterday and finally did it today..only to find slow xbl "can't even load Youtube on 360" and a whole load of other issues.

But i still stick with Microsoft.

This was going on yesterday?

Does anyone else have to re enter their password and email? Then once it's complete it kicks you offline again?

I got to disconnect from my modem just to play any games. I thought it was because of the new BO2 TU guess not.

Teqdizzle I'm Having the same problem i cant even watch dvd's

Do you mean like dvds on disc? I am really annoyed because i was hotswapping and everything and all of my ISO Discs worked perfectly for a week then i tried one of them that worked great all week and it did not work. tried another iso. Did not work. I know i am hot swapping right.
