Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition Retail Disc Version Coming in April

4.3
It looks like Microsoft and Mojang are about to take their relationship with one another to a whole new level. A physical level. Today it was revealed over at PlayXBLA that a physical copy of Minecraft for the Xbox 360 will be released to stores on April 30th.

The game will contain all of the same features that the digital version includes as well as all further updates. The title will be sold for $19.99, the same price as the digital version (but taxed now) and will be available in other regions outside of the US sometime early in June.

The retail game will be exactly the same as the digital version in every way, including support for multiplayer connectivity between the retail game and the digital download.

MTV I don't find this to be a good idea for them at all.

I do in terms of people without live and they will get more money

Affectx I don't find a need for a disc version because they can get scratched and I also don't think it would really increase there sells.

But then the people who dont have live cant play it so a disc is better for everyone.

It would be cheaper from the marketplace since theres no tax involved.

It's for the small few who don't have LIVE, they care about their fanbase.

Also , it would increase their sales. Thats the only thing it can do.
