Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition Retail Disc Version Coming in April

4.3
It looks like Microsoft and Mojang are about to take their relationship with one another to a whole new level. A physical level. Today it was revealed over at PlayXBLA that a physical copy of Minecraft for the Xbox 360 will be released to stores on April 30th.

The game will contain all of the same features that the digital version includes as well as all further updates. The title will be sold for $19.99, the same price as the digital version (but taxed now) and will be available in other regions outside of the US sometime early in June.

The retail game will be exactly the same as the digital version in every way, including support for multiplayer connectivity between the retail game and the digital download.

lol pretty sure just like any other game?

Pointless just buy a 1600 and get it.
They need to put money towards more mojang and 4j studios employees for more updates and content.

-Deceptionz- To be honest if they are going to make the disc version they should give the disc free to the people who own the digital version which I prefer not to get if you already own the digital version and also if the disc breaks its a waste cause you can just have a digital version which lasts longer just my opinion

There still wouldn't be a point if they owned the digital copy.

I doubt they would, it costs them to make the disks. You paid for one version only. They won't give 2 for the price of 1.

That's what I'm saying, there really wouldn't be a point to own a physical copy of a game when you already have the digital.

Chi Good idea, but really isn't needed.

Think about the people without HDD's

And people without xbl

Well they could not get the game in the first place

I don't have xbl atm... So that's why this seems sick imo..

Well trust me xbl is not wroth the money.

Well that must be because you have no friends to play with. XBL is only fifty dollars a year and if you wait until summer sales they always have one for thirty dollars. For that little amount of money so you can play with friends is definitely worth it to me. I guess you can use PSN but to me it doesn't have anything like to xbox social environment.
