Anyone seen the whole post about an American calling Soccer, "football"?

What I wanna know is, why does it matter?

The name of the sport in my opinion is irrelevant as it doesn't affect how the game is played.

ALSO, Rugby and American football are NOT the same sport. Alike, but not the same.

It just irks my nerves when there's a giant war going on in that post over THE NAME of a sport. Not even about the gameplay. Or teams. Or a player. But about the NAME.

It's COMPLETELY ridiculous and seems like only something kids would complain about. This has nothing to do with the OP of the post but of the people having catfights in the comment section.

Is it killing you that someone wants to call a sport whatever they wanna call it!?

I've learned to not even argue with UK people because we have different views on things. As for UK people they should know not to argue with Americans because they have different views on things. Arguing about which two is better is beating the dead horse.

Prohibit wrote Now all this topic will do is create arguments between UK and US. Even the first reply from Wife is saying US is better than UK...

That's the internet for you.

You obviously didn't understand my post. What I said and meant was arguing about which ever country is better is pointless. Arguing which ever one is better is been something that's been going on for years and it's like beating a dead horse.

I dont see the point in arguments like this at all.

People need to grow up

I think its hilarious and childish that people still do this. The best thing is joining a game on Xbox 360 (MW2) and still finding angry people who chat sh** about the UK or the other way round.

I agree these kind of arguements are pointless and they end up just turning into a pissing contest...

If im speaking to an English person weather it be at work, at the store, whatever and it just so happens to be that we are talking about sports I will say "American Football" so they understand what im talking about, if im speaking about soccer I will just say "football" and well im also Hispanic so if Im speaking to my vatos ill say "futbol"

Hey to me man it all depends on who im talking to.
