From an American:

I wish it was called football. American Football (NFL) barely requires contact with the ball and feet.

But it's done and over. America chose feet and inches over the metric system so this doesn't surprise me.

It just sounds ridiculous thinking about it. People are always going on about how its called "Soccer" or "Football" but either way your still kicking a football around so it wouldnt matter lool

HorridHooper wrote Its called football worldwide yet use want to call it soccer which is understandable as you allready have a sport called American football but what i don t get is use call it football but play the game using your hands, this is one of them question that will never get a agred answer by UK & US people
Look back on my post in that rant topic and you'll find that the British were the first to coin the term "soccer". I just hate how everyone hates on the U.S. for being "difficult" and wanting to use their own term rather than adopting everyone else's term of "football". We do what we want because we are the best. 'Murica.

We really aren't the best. It was a joke. I believe every country has their pros and cons
