I live in the UK so I have barely ever seen guns lol. I just want to know what americans think of them because yanno they have a big problem over there. Personally I say ban them but I can see why it wouldn't really work. Its better than getting more guns to protect everyone because they will always fall into the wrong hands. Anyway its not guns who kill people its the person pulling the trigger.

you have the normal people who dont mind them and see the use of them (ive never used a gun and i agree we need them) then we have the liberals who think if you own a gun you are planning to kill people

I own about 20 firearms currently. The problem isn't firearms, it's mental health. Now as a veteran and firearm lover i do believe background checks are in order but we need a better system to do it. The system that we use is a joke and anyone can get one. But i do believe that anyone legally allowed to own one should. I conceal carry a Glock 9mm everywhere i can and i have had to draw on one person before who was assaulting a lady in a parking lot and i waited for the police to arrive and arrest him. I never fired a shot but the suspect didn't want to find out if i would.
Gun crime is unfortunate as it only hurts law abiding citizens..

Law makers will never be able to ban firearms. The only way they ban or at least suppress firearms is banning ammunition or forcing the cost up..

im not american but i do live in the us for a month i disagree with guns that are not pistols cause assultrifles are more deadly then a pistol but if you have kids you shouldnt have guns cause the kid can get a hold of it and either shoot/kill you or their bother/sister/mother
