I'm not taking sides. I am a gun supporter my self but you need to look at the bigger picture. This is just for debate purposes

You think guns are dangerous? Think about how many people kill each other just driving their cars every day.

On average, more than 100 people per day died in car crashes in the U.S. The death toll for a single day can range from 55 to 252 people. 8% Of which are Alcohol or drug related. 1 in every 4 fatal accidents are cause by distracted driving.(Eating, Texting, Or Talking on the phone)

Every day in the U.S., an average of 289 people are shot. 86 of them die: 30 are murdered, 53 kill themselves, two die accidentally, and one is shot by police

I think guns should be much harder to obtain and require regular tests to keep. guns are made for harming and sport, cars are made for transport, I see your point but its like comparing apples to shoes

I have no problem with weapons, but I believe people with mental conditions like PTSD, or have a criminal background or less than 10 years as a US citizen should not allowed to be able to purchase nor shoot a weapon within this country.

This is like comparing apples to oranges, I just lost brain cells. Most people who get into accidents aren't trying to intentionally hurt others. That's why is called an accident. People who wrongly obtain guns and shoot up stores and schools should not have them in the first place. Guns are very safe in the hands of a responsible owner. I'm all for guns but you shouldn't be comparing the two.

Not exactly the best argument. Cars are made for transportation. Guns are made to destroy and kill. We also regulate cars way better than guns, so there is also that. At least we try to lower deaths with cars with mandatory safety measures.

I don't have a problem with guns either, but like kamilca said regular tests should be done on the owners.

"guns are made for harming" !? Omg dude...

Guns are made for protecting ourselves and our country. You can go around without any means to protect your life but I am carrying a gun with me.

Also its not comparing apples to shoes, it's comparing the death rates of one thing to another thing
