dah wrote There's no rush getting a job at your sort of age because your parents should as a parent give you money or buy things for you. You can work at home meaning of; clean the house and get tips that money and build your money that way.

That is extremely closed minded.

Some parents dont have the luxury to give their kids everything their kids want.

I know from my experience: My parents provided necessary items such as food, water and shelter. If I wanted anything else I worked for it and earned my own money.

Why should you need to get stuff from your parents. You shouldn't be beholden to anyone.

The earlier getting a job the better. A CV with 4 years work experience looks better than a person straight out of Uni.

At home all you can really do is find cheap things and sell them for more or start offering a paid service for something you do really well. Other than that, you're going to have to get outside and find a job that doesn't care about age like a hairdressers or some family owned business, or buy huge packs of soft drinks (often not too expensive) and sell them on at school for a profit. Coke is £3.55 for a 12 pack (according to tesco online), so if you sell each can for £1, you got yourself easy profit

I am 14 and i make some money by doing things round the house and modding games. I help my Grandparents in their garden for some extra money. I have a few ad's on ebay for modding, that brings in around £15 a week.
