I want to go swimming but I'm self conscious. The only way I will go is if I wear some sort of sport top like a tight top people wear whilst running (forgot what they are called). Would it be weird if I wear one whilst swimming in a pool?
Also, is there any specific top I could wear that actual male swimmers use whilst going swimming?

No problem with being self conscious about it, maybe go at an off peak time so that there aren't many people there. I'm pretty sure that all male swimmers would swim without a top on though.

That's what I was thinking. Going without one at any time is no go for me:(

No i always see people swimming with shirts on man.

I sometimes wear tops to swim in depending on the circumstance like where I am, on holiday where it is hot so I don't get sun burned as bad....

no thats not weird, once i went swimming while it was sunny and i had 3rd degree burns on my back, litrally burnt so deep it damage my skin pigments so part of my back is a shade darker

I used to until I figured out that people know I'm fat with or without my shirt on lol. That and my arms already show that I'm white than Casper.
