hi, i am trying to do my college work and for some reason even though i have a colour selected its always going gray. im not sure why its not in greyscale or anyhing any help i will +Rep

Any reason your brush is set to luminosity?

Will have a check at something in a minute, just reinstalling PS as had massive failure over night and lost everything.

Save that PSD and upload it for me

i did not know my brush was set to that, could that be why its doing this? and ok! thanks for helping

ok so i just did something and its letting me use the proper colours on a differant layer, but not the background one
