It is even worse when they sign off with their name and also have a signature.

I do it all the time since I was brought up as a child to be formal at all times to someone who is unknown to you.

Then at work when writing emails and letters I have to sign the bottom of the letter so I guess it just a habit for me.

Yeah this does annoy me, its like theyre writing a formal letter or something lol!
