wtaf??
you want to get up @ 6:30 go home @ 3:00 for like 25k a year? and how do you know you'll get on them? waiting list is probably a few metres long so call it 22 before your on them properly.
how could you say i want to work in pissing down rain and stink for semi good pay

That time scales just a normal school day to me! Also say I got it at 20, I'd have 50k in 2 years, obviously I'm not talking about a permanent thing.

There are far worse, harder, and more stressful jobs.
The latter two of which are usually higher paying jobs, so you would be sacrificing money for a more stress free life.

Being a bin man isn't so bad. It just has negative connotations.

are you trying to say every paycheck you're just going to save? and 25k is an exaggeration

Xiggy wrote Look past the pay. Your never going to be happy at the job, so why aim for it.

Find something that your good at and make a career out of it.

Il give you me as an example. At school, I done terrible. Dint pass many GCSE's but did pass something that I wanted to get into; IT.

Since school, I knew I wanted to be in IT. So I went to college where I learnt a whole host of IT stuff which put me on target where I am now - working in a school doing IT Support.

Aim high and you shall achieve.

When i was at school i didn't care in fact i got quite depressed and just wanted to be over some people care and really enjoy school some are the opposite. I think you should care more if you want to go to university as getting high grades will get you in a better university. I don't think it's a good idea to try and make yourself do something you have no interest in as you will end up a depressed person imo.

My worst mistake was messing around in school and not doing well in my subjects if i could go back and do it all again i would definitely put more effort in. (I'm sure this is the same with the older generation on this forum)

Yeah you might plan to be something but your career can easily change or go down hill at any type.

Stick in at school trust me!

Nah, if you have the potential then you should stay in school for as long as you can.
Put in at least half effort and you should open up some more opportunities.
You don't want to spend 5 years thinking you'll just be a bin man so you don't need to try and then change your mind after you've already messed it all up.

But I know this won't get through to you, it wouldn't have gotten through to me.
