So you ignored what everyone said.

Not really. I only bought this card for GTA and nothing else. I dont play games often on PC I just want a card that's better than my factory shtty one
Well it doesnt sound like you're having a good time playing GTA at 29fps,maybe you should have listened.

Not saying he's wrong but taking someone's word who pretty much got bribed is dumb.

You could of gotten a 290 a fricken 290.

290 is close to $300 or so and I only had $250 in my paypal so I went with the 960

This isn't $300

Gets even cheaper on some sales but do what you like it's your money.

Just want to add to Alexyy's point- You can actually find 290's for $250, or reference cooler 290's for as little as $235 now, so you could have paid less for a far superior card, but w/e.

Awh hun, it's cute that you're downvoting me because you're butthurt, but you don't have a clue what you're talking about, so you should leave. The GTX 960 is a horrible choice for a GPU. $200 for a 2GB 960 when a 2GB R9 285 out-performs it for $10 less? It's moronic. You don't go out and buy a Honda Civic when you could get something like an Evo or something instead. I highly doubt you've had "really bad" experiences with AMD on more than one occasion. Nvidia GPUs are no better built than AMD cards and don't last any longer. A GPU lasts as long as you, the owner want it to.

I'm not really "butt hurt" i got down voted for putting my opinion which i got from past experiences and then "butt hurt" people downvoted me lol

Wrong, you were down voted for giving false information.

It's not a matter of opinion "lol", the R9 285, 280X and R9 290 all out-perform the GTX 960 for a lower cost, smh. No one who downvoted you was butthurt, you were wrong, that's why you were down-voted. I find it hard to believe that on two occasions, you got faulty AMD cards and it wasn't resolved. What 2 AMD cards and what 3 Nvidia cards have you owned?

I had a Radeon HD 6770 which died on me about a month or two of using it so i decided to get a 560ti (which still works now) then i bought a Radeon HD 7850 which died on me about 3 months later so i went back to nvidia got a 660ti (which again still works) and i have recently upgraded to a gtx 970 which works great. So what i said wasn't really wrong as for me amd cards have just died on me where as i have never had a nvidia just die on me

What you said was entirely wrong. Nvidia cards are no better built than AMD cards. I highly doubt they were all reference cards either, so the blame can be put on the manufacturer of the card, but it's your own fault if you never RMAed it. Stop being a fanboy.
