I wear glasses, I've been wearing glasses since 8th grade

I started wearing glasses two years ago. They do feel normal, but I hate how I worry about my normal eyesight since it's not so good. Also, I would wear contact, but I don't feel comfortable poking my eyes with maybe thick contacts. In addition, my teacher said they when she first got glasses when she was younger, she got them stuck on and the doctors had to pry it off. Keep in mind, this is when segregation was still a problem, so she was lucky that the doctor did help her take off her contacts that she had stuck on her eyes.

glasses was like a phase for me and like every kid in my elementary school, everyone had them or wanted them. Growing up that was so stupid of me and them but we were kids.

I dont need glasses although bad eyesight runs in my family so maybe in the future but I hope not. *knocks on wood*

I have had bad eyesight since I was a child so I have worn glasses for a long time and it is impossible for me to put on contacts.

I've been wearing glasses since the 3rd grade (13 years).

I could live without them, the only reason I wear them because of reading. I tried out contacts for a while but it just felt weird so I stopped after about 6 months.

I wear glasses and contact lenses, had to cut down on my contact lenses as I was wearing them too often
