Sometimes when I want to show someone something I made and ask for their opinion on it
without them knowing that it was really me who made it, I tell them it was a younger
sibling just in case they say it's bad.

Who knows, maybe a similar situation is happening here...

Dear god, you had a child at 13? I'm 19 and my girlfriend just had to have a unwanted D&C because our baby's sac was growing at 8 weeks but the baby was only 6 weeks, and it died. But, hell I wasn't even ready at my age. How on earth are you capable of looking after a kid at your age.

Also, that's a great drawing whether it was your child or not.
