I have the same problem too but with a little bit more luck, I've never opened up my xbox up before so I know I didn't damage my DVD Tray or anything because I've successfully ripped games before.

My Advanced Warfare disk is completely new, no scratches, whenever I try rip it, it goes to around 50% or 30% or 20% then just stops copying.

Put the disc in the disc drive, go on neighborhood and find the DVD: partition

Copy all of the files through neighborhood and paste them into a folder

I have not done anything as I just received it today I only put the xex menu and freestyle dash

Ok, either the console came with a bad DVD Key or you have hardware issues with the disc drive. I would try and get in contact with the seller.
