-Swift wrote I'll speak for my 13 year old self as if you asked me this question 7 years ago :p

It all depended on the situation, if it was a friday night, my parents did not mind it a bit that I gamed. But Wednesday night, the xbox had to be off by 7pm.

Then when it came to buying the games. they really did not care. My first games were Halo, Call of Duty, and NCAA Football.

But the homework HAD to be done to play.

Now that i'm 20 and making some money here and there, they do not care one bit.
Exactly the same here man!

I'm 16 now but when I was younger my parents didn't care how long I was on for as long as my schoolwork and chores were done and I still did things outside. They weren't cool at all with what I played. I remember giving g money to my friends that could play CoD, GTA,ect to go and get me a copy. Suprisingly I never got caught espically because I played CoD 4 so much. This all changed the black ops 1 release day. My mom gave into getting the game but said it was the first and last one. But once you give in once you keep giving in. So now I'm allowed to play whatever I wish and I can play as much as I want as long as what was mentioned above gets done.
Sorry for any spelling mistakes I'm on my phone and auto correct on this hates me

My parents are very lenient as I make money off of Xbox since I host modded lobbies. I am very mature for my age as I am only 13, but I sound like a 17 year old aha. I get most games I want when I was a bit younger I was not able to play games like 'Grand Theft Auto' but now since I have matured I can play games freely. I always have to have good grades to keep playing C and better, and all my homework has to be done before gaming. I hope that helped give you a perspective of the eye of a 13 year old.

17 now.

But when I was 13 my parents had no issues really, I did my homework when I got home anyway. Any game was allowed, xbox off by maximum Midnight.

Back on the good old days of PS2 almost 8 years ago for me (18 now) I was able to play games like GTA, SA, Vice city, you name it I played it. My parents (Mom) was a little iffy on me playing GTA only because of its rep, but I was still allowed to play it (Dad didnt care), thing with me was at that young of an age 8+ I watched older kids play it and when I played it I was and still dont really get that violent while playing GTA, I just play it like its real life LOL, so as a kid I just played the story line and had fun, I wasnt there to kill people all the time and go to the strip club.

Remember taking turns with friends on SA? I always took the longest to get "Wasted" cause I played it like real life haha my friends would make me kill people to get cops on me so that they could play.

Ahh good times. So yeah, homework wasnt an issue for me and my parents werent that strict towards M games.
