I'll speak for my 13 year old self as if you asked me this question 7 years ago :p

It all depended on the situation, if it was a friday night, my parents did not mind it a bit that I gamed. But Wednesday night, the xbox had to be off by 7pm.

Then when it came to buying the games. they really did not care. My first games were Halo, Call of Duty, and NCAA Football.

But the homework HAD to be done to play.

Now that i'm 20 and making some money here and there, they do not care one bit.

I'm 17 now.

but,

When I was younger(like 13) I was quite a bit.

Couldn't play games like GTA, and was not allowed to play games in the morning.

When I was 13,

My mom didnt really like the idea of video games like GTA and Cod
But my brother played them so I would always play them anyway.

My dad was all for games like GTA, so he would let me play when my mom wasnt home.

When I was younger (About 6 or 7) I would play GTA Vice City before I went to bed on school days and play it when I got home. My parents didn't really mind what I was playing, as long as I went to bed at 9.
