Like what some others said it was way abused.

Back then not a lot of people even bothered giving +Rep, even if you helped somebody. But if you made a mistake, someone didnt like you, or even a pointless post you got -Rep. So the ratio was nuts. People are always saying "Good ol' days" but to me, i wouldnt go back. Website has improved majorly and couldnt be happier about it.

i disliked the old rep system immensely. if you were in an argument with someone with high rep you'd get negative amount of that. if you upset someone they negative rep you. it was a system that could easily be abused i'm glad it changed.


now if they could only re-work the thumbing system that'd be great.

I miss the old rep system even though it was abused badly. It could've been a good system though if they worked out some things.

Good times for sure. I miss that i really do. A lot has changed since then.

All these people just joined last year or this year saying they remember it lol. Clearly proves they made more than one accounts. And yes I do remember that but I hated those people that gave me negative rep. Repping someone before was clearly better than now.
