Remember the old reputation system where you could literally give someone as much rep as you wanted, and when you did there reputation literally changed.

For example if you had 10 reputation, and I gave you +5 reputation, your reputation would now show that you have +15

Same goes for negative rep, but vice versa. Yeah, there actually used to be negative rep.

However if I exchanged reputation to someone, I would lose that rep.

So if I have 10 rep, and gave you 5, I would now have 5 reputation points.

I tried googling some screenshots of the old reputation system and this is all I got.

It used to be a scale, and then you could chose wether it be negative or positive.

I wasn't here for the times of negative rep or the different look and style of the site.

However, I have been told about these features and what not. I also feel that negative rep was abused heavily, and so I am glad that it isn't still a part of the site!

People say that "negative rep showed us who was scammers..."

But in all honestly, there isn't really any selling allowed on this website anyways for the most part...

and it takes alot to get negative rep, and you can easily boost it by posting.

So negative rep didn't really show any proof of someone being a "scammer."

I wouldn't say it was abused, I would just say it was pointless.

I think I remember that, I used to think if you gave rep that it would take some off you I was a TTG Newb back then
