I have a plan to get one...
save up for a few years, keep my 91 Mini on the road for a while and purchase a scooby when I can. Keep it off the road for a few more years while I fix her up. then, once I can afford insurance, take the Mini off the road and do a full resto on that while using the scooby as a daily.

if you get a subaru, look for a wrx sti, something that has a VF22 turbo at least. Those things go nuts
