They probably couldn't hand all the infections mods on their, the game was ruined and they really liked the game. Without the game life is nothing.

Just like drugs, cocaine for example, people get addicted to it and once they get it took away from them they can't handle it. So sadly the only way they can cope will be to commit suicide.
