As much as i hate Call of Duty, it isnt to blame.. It's most likely to be the users the kids played against, everyone who has ever played a Call of Duty game will have come into contact with an abusive, disrespectful user. It only takes one person to repeatedly say something to one of these kids and they will start to feel, low and worthless about themselves and as we all know, Call of Duty is full of these types of people. You kill someone, you get told that your mums a whore and this user has banged her many times, there are obviously a lot worse from death threats to racial abuse. The content of the game isn't exactly graphic, you get blown up, you fly across the map.. your limbs don't fly off, you get shot.. you fall to the floor, your brains don't spill out on the floor. It's not the games content, it's the games users that's the problem.

Plus, these kids are well underage as are probably over half of Call of Duty's players.

I laughed when in the article it said "CoD is one of the gorier games on the market."

They obviously have no idea about video games.

'He was very taken with his studies and he enjoyed playing his Xbox.
'The game he always played was Call of Duty.
He was rather self-contained, he didnt like going out a great deal.
'He didnt drink or smoke he was the opposite to that.
He had exams coming up, but that wouldnt cause him any worry as he was a straight-A student.
'He never threatened self-harm to my knowledge.

So who's to say it was Call of Duty?
I sound exactly like him, it could have been just a series of depression that got to him, or a girl he loved deeply that left him and he couldn't stand the pain.

Our parents don't know everything about us, so they shouldn't make assumptions.

there just looking for the most obious thing to say, but by that logic you could say that they killed themselfs becuse they ate bread, just because they did something alot doesnt mean that it influences them to kill themselves and if it does then they shouldnt be playing it at all and should get mental help, end of its not the games fault AT ALL it has the 18+ logo on it, so its the kids and parents/gardiens fault for letting them play it

you cannot simply blame a virtual game for a living creatures own intentions, you just can't. i give my condolence to the family, but you just cant blame a game.

Just plain ridiculous to even think that. People these days love to point a finger as soon as something bad happens. Happens way to much in the gaming community.
