I have installed the drivers and have installed it into my pc correctly. every time i turn my pc on it just says "Monitor going to sleep" But when i put my old gpu in its fine:/ Btw my old gpu is a Geforce gt 630.

Did you use install the drivers used for that certain gpu? that could be the problem

It could be many things:
-Your powersupply might not be strong enough to run a upgraded GPU.
-You could have the Suspend key enabled.(Looks like a quarter moon)
- If your computer can change inputs try switching through them and see if it's on a new input.
-Loose cords.
-If your using DVI cords trying using HDMI or VGA.
Thats all I can really think of that would be causing that Hope you get your problem sorted out soon!

Most power supplies are strong enough. He could run it off of a 400W unit if needed.

I upgraded my psu to a 450w 80+ and it powers the card well. i don't know where i can find the suspend key and my chords are not loose

Are you sure you have the GPU power cables plugged in. That is a common mistake.
