Sorry i dont quite get the meaning of overkill does it mean its more then enough for my build?

You could run that build on a 550w

and yeah you could of got a way cheaper power supply.

Ok thats fine with me, so now GPU and CPU ill upgrade my GPU and will it work with my CPU and motherboard money isnt an issue i want a better system and id also need a cooler fan mostly guna get an SSD also.

Heat.

When overclocking you have to up the voltage that your CPU is taking in, the move voltage that is being sent to the CPU the more heat that is given off. This is why you need a better CPU cooler if you are wanting to overclock.

The CPU you have currently if fine. No need to switch it for a while.
