And it shows your knowledge of American football as well. Here's where I end the argument, I've been to both. You obviously have not. You are just simply too ignorant and pompous to even consider the fact that American fans are better.

Lmfao.

Aye. You want to sit there like old folks on a park bench. Football fans don't sing and shout for the whole game because of no reason. They do it out of the fact that they love their team and want to give them inspiration or because singing really loudly scares the shite out of the opposition. Why do you think we Celtic fans are the twelth man in the Champions League.

Foods wrote You are obviously biased towards Soccer. Soccer is just a boring sport to watch. American football is way more intense, nerve-racking, and fun to watch. The only reason soccer is the most dominant sport is because it costs nearly nothing to play. American football is the better sport, and has the better fans.

You can not justify what sport is better than the other. There's no deciding factor. Let me clarify that I'm bias towards neither sport. I'm an American that likes the New York Giants and I support Manchester City in the EPL.

In Gridiron Football (correct me if I'm wrong), the fans try to disrupt the away team by getting really loud and then when the home team gets the ball they get quiet so they don't get disrupted. Seattle Seahawks fans got so loud it was picked up as a mini earthquake on the Richter Scale.

In Association Football, the crowd tries to rally behind their team by singing and chanting.

I am a Seahawks fan, and I can guarantee you no 'Futbol' fans could match their noise. Even if they were both inside the same stadium. I have been to a European football game, and it was not as exciting or even as loud as a American Football game. I do enjoy the atmosphere of both games. But when it comes down to passion, loudness, and other factors. American football wins.

It isn't about loudness, you missed the point. Each sport has different atmosphere, culture, etiquette, etc. I honestly think you went into the game expecting nothing and came out with nothing; it was a placebo effect. You can't even begin to tell me that Association Football doesn't have passionate fans. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Lol no.
The only time I guess you could make such a claim is when the opposing team is kicking a field goal.

Which claim? That they get loud to disrupt the other team?

In American football, an extremely loud crowd can prevent the offensive linemen from hearing the snap count. This can have the effect of making the player slower to react when the ball is snapped, and his eventual response may be weaker than normal because each play is begun "with some indecision and doubt."[44] The noise can also prevent players from hearing audibles and can make it difficult for the team's offense to coordinate plays in the huddle. The effect of the noise can often be measured in mistakes, such as false start penalties.

You're acting like you can hear a pen drop at an American Football game.

The record before the Seahawks was at a Turkish soccer game and was 131.1 decibels. Not the 140 that you're going on about.

That record was beat more than 3 times just this last season of American football.

137.6 Seattle Seahawks on December 1,2013
137.5 Kansas City Chiefs game on October 13, 2013
136.6 Seattle Seahawks game on September 15, 2013

Ignorant? I took the time to research different fans from the different American Football leagues before I made the thread. The only ignorant person is the one who bases his argument on a world cup game which didn't actually happen. You don't even bother looking at the other fans from the Footballing world. I have viewed all. How do you think I knew of Seattle's former record? With research. How do you think I knew of Besiktas beating Seattle? With research. I have a video of Seattle on the original post and I can tell you that they are the equivalent to the Aberdeen support. I am not ignorant. I have proven all of your statements wrong and you are now pulling shite out of your arse. In fact read my ooriginal post. I said that those Wolverine folks had sone idea of how to support. They are better than a lot of Football teams but they are not anywhere near the best Football teams.

As you can see. This is Besiktas reaching 141 decibels. Not to mention the fact that them and many others can maintain levels close to that throughout the match.

So you can determine the level of decibels from a YouTube video now or are you just taking the title as the official ruling?

It's all over the Internet about this video and other reported levels which Besiktas have made. I bet you didn't know that these guys only have 41000 capacity stadium which is nothing compared to American Football stadium sizes. The support you get from Football fans is unrivalled. In fact I dare anybody on here to find me a sporting crowd and have video evidence of this crowd which I can't counter with a better example of Football fans. I mean did you see the Dortmund supporters in my original post. Football fans sing and shout before they even reach the stadium.

I could make a video of me talking and title it "Single man yells at 150 Decibels!"
Would you believe that as well?

An official ruling is done by Guinness.
Not a YouTube title.
