Don't forget the comments in regards to amateur music producers that spam videos with them stating to look at their content. It's irritating as hell. Ex, "Hi,I'm xxx and I'm a fairly new DJ. I have such and such for a dream and would really like you to check out my work"

iSupport wrote You also need to look at it from their perspective. Many of the famous youtubers do their job for a living. I understand when you're like RayWilliamJohnson which only cares about the money, but other people have a family to look after and bills to pay. With new members joining every day, channels are created daily and the average amount of subcribers per youtuber increases rapidly.

If they don't constantly ask their viewers for support or ask users to subscribe, they'll fall behind. Each time they sign a contract it'll be for less and less money. So you also have to think about it that way.

I agree with your thread for the most part, but also think you should look at it from the people who actually need the money's perspective. Someday, when you have a job and a family to look after, you'll understand that doing your best at work must be a priority if you want to survive in such a competitive world.

Cheers

Yeah i completely understand where you're coming from, but i don't think effortless money whoring is the way to try and survive in the youtube world. Maybe if they worked harder on there videos then the ratings would go up by themselves, thus earning more revenue. Another point is that if the videos they make can't generate enough income then is Youtube really the best job for them?

This is why I watch people on twitch also prefer the live atmosphere as anything can happen

Youtubers now a days are just like "so yeah, like my videos and subscribe to my channel and tell your friends, thanks." and then 2 more minutes into the video they say it again. It's pretty annoying. I also hate how they put in misleading titles, like a How to video for GTA5 glitches and then they just go on about how they wish the glitches weren't patched.

i agree with 100% of it, all they care about is the money, they could care less about who watches it as long as they are making money still.

Exactly. Anybody now a days can get partnerships with Google. They make misleading titles and put on misleading thumbnails to get people to click on their videos and waste people's time so that they can get the extra dollar. YouTube was ruined the day Google took over.

and when YouTubers say "Oh i did all by myself, you do the same" yeah when YouTube Gaming was new and you didn't have 10000's of people all trying to do the same thing as the same time.

I totally agree about asking for ratings. Honestly how can you tell me to change my judgment?
