Yin wrote Proves nothing. Maybe wherever you did this at isn't haunted, so what spirits could you actually call? The ideomotor effect really means nothing unless you can prove it every time on a neurological scale. Spirits can use your mind and energy to do small things like that. It's call a partial possession. They can mess with your subconscious. I'm not saying Ouija boards are real, but you can't disprove them that easily.

Well you can, they are simply mass produced pieces of cardboard. It's clear that the Ouija board only works on people that subconsciously except it to work and I'm sure if the individuals involved where perhaps paralyzed in the upper half of their body the cup wouldn't move at all.

And yet, you still cannot. They are NOW mass produced pieces of cardboard. They used to be solid wood. Want something that has a greater chance of working? Go get a wooden one from a person that practices voodoo. I'm sure it wouldn't move either if they are paralyzed, seeing how spirits would mess with your subconscious and not your arms. If you can't move your arms because the connection from the brain to your arms is broken, a spirit can't do it either unless it's strong enough to physically move your arm. That amount of energy needed would be insane. Again, I'm not saying they are real. I'm just saying you can't disprove them that easily. It will be almost as difficult as disproving a god, since really they are the same type of things/beings.

If spirits were real; they would have been proven. It is a very big industry, the paranormal one. Stories and tales all drive the market, and the human will to believe in paranormal activities also spur your subconscious.

My personal favourite is that of the Dybbuk box, or however you spell it.

I've never believed in anything that science can't prove is real.

i was about to say the same thing.

you cant just disprove something because it doesn't happen every time, that's just not how things work.

Nothing can be proven by a person saying "diddnt work for me so its fake" There have been people survive air craft crashes like a lady that fell something like 12,000ft into the ground and survived, sure she needed A LOT of sergery but she survived, go give it a shot and die and we can say its fake. There are soooo many small factors to take into consideration with things like this that as said it isn't so easily disproved.

But the thing is Ouija boards have never been proven real and a lot people have proven it fake...
We have yet to see any actual evidence that it might be real so it is highly unlikely that it is real...

it wasnt proved she fell 12,000ft they found the aircraft that she was in crashed a couple of miles away and speculated that she fell that height because its the norm height at the distance from landing that the aircraft flies at, she could have fell from 15 feet and just mashed her face up.

All the people that claim its true, they are the ones that have the "proof" unfortunately its not an easy thing to prove, i do understand what your saying and im not saying that they are real only that its like trying to prove that god exists or that the big bang happened, its pretty impossible.
