There is really nothing to say after that video. Hits almost everything there is to say about it. Banning guns or even a type of gun should not happen. The biggest thing at stake when you take away the guns is our freedom. The government could come in at anytime and control us more than they already do. Guns are there to make sure we stay safe and protected.

Get rid of guns completely. I live in the UK and see no point to needing them. I can live without them, so can you.

I too live in the UK, after guns were banned here, did you notice the sudden increase in every other type of crime?
Now we have knife crime to contend with.

Banning guns doesn't solve anything, it creates a black market in which only criminals will be able to get the guns and by their very nature they will use them, while others won't have a way to protect themselves against it.
The money gained on the black market would fund the drug trade in Mexico and Brazil contributing to countless death and the Narco gangs would also profit greatly from it.

For me, there is no more reason needed than that.
But there is still a lot more reasons, like Yin has stated.

One thing I hate is the claim that if you take guns away criminals will still have them, in the majority of mass shootings the guns were legally obtained. But then look at the killing rates of people through other means? And size of country?

It seems to work for almost all of the developed, western countries that aren't the US.

More regulations to buy a gun. Most times when someone wants to buy a gun it's just a background check on criminal activity but they should also look at medical records to see if you have ever had a physiological problem. Another thing they could do is at gun shows maybe actually ask for proof of you gun license(I know alot of people who have walked into a gun show asked for a gun showed their Driver license stating they where over 21 and walked right out with the gun,ammo,sights or whatever.)Now the only time they do this now is if your applying for a Class 3 Gun License. For a Class 3 it's background check, federal check, FDA check, medical check, a 3-5 month training course(Safety and Handling),much intricate and detailed on the guns and everything about them, and it's only for business(mostly FFL Dealer) or if you where in the military. Class 3 license allows full auto weapons, higher magazine size(if your state has restrictions) suppressors, and explosives. Getting a class 3 license isn't easy and can take up to 2 years to get.


Now banning guns won't do any good as LightYear and Yin have stated it will cause Black Markets to become more active and could let the government do whatever they want without fear of a rebellion. Plus guns save lives everyday but cause harm and death in the wrong hands.
