Haha, that's a completely new build. Are the hard drive and optical drive SATA and do you want to use them with the new hardware? If the HDD is a low RPM, it might be better to use it as a data drive (assuming you don't want a new HDD with a greater capacity) and get a lower capacity SSD to put Windows and applications on. Otherwise, $500 or $600 can get you some very capable gaming builds.
This PC actually has a decent, seagate HDD. 1 tb and i'm fairly certain it would do okay in a new build. I will look to newegg for parts thanks
