That's marketing for you. They tell you lies to get you to buy it. Let me guess. It's from china?

Its not from China its from the US

That was mostly a joke because china is known for ripping people off.

no an x clamp fix will work in some cases of the RROD but there are as well as cases where the mother board will need to be reballed. i recommend getting the RROD kit and trying that and if it still dont work get it reballed.

You'll have to understand that the Xclamp fix is for board warping. Not CPU connections. The Xclamp fix barely has anything to do with the CPU itself. Your problem is to fix the connections within the CPU and the board. To do this, you will need a reball.
This is reball...

Im trying not to get it reballed cause I wont have this Xbox much longer. My bro is giving me his Halo Reach slim when he gets the Halo 4 Xbox in November so im just trying to see if I can fix it to play it for a couple more months.

It's almost impossible without reball. Sorry.

I honestly suggest modding the SH_T out of it. Just go hard on it. Give it Xclamp fix. Take a heat gun to it. Anything. 12v fan mod. You name it. I have an Xbox like yours. I was a complete ebay piece of junk. Fixed it within a few hours. Now it is screaming health. Jasper RGHable for only 25$?! Steal! The Xclamp fix can be done with just screws washers and thermal paste. I'll take some pics if you want?

And they were most likely warping problems. In this case this has to be reballed. If a CPU cannot connect it cannot connect with just adding a new Xclamp or putting in some screws. No way.
