I recently did the towel trick to reset my Xbox 360 and now when I turn it on I get no sound or video and it will stay green for like a minute and then the 1st, 3rd, and 4th quadrant will blink red. Im thinking that I need to replace the thermal paste under the heat sinks to get rid of RROD. But im not sure so could someone tell me how to fix it?

Edit: When I try to find my secondary error code all the LED's start blinking red

I found my error code. Its 0022. E10: Unconfirmed: CPU error, generally caused by a poor connection to the mainboard (cold solder joints/bridged solder joints). This can also be triggered by an error with the TSOP.

Could someone help me out on what to do?

You need to get it reballed.

Runs for about 60$. You should see if someone local has a reball service. I'm pretty sure a computer shop or even gamestop may have it.

I do know the manager and some people that do work at my local gamestop but I just told my mom and she said she will buy me the RROD X-Clamp Repair kit for it from Extreme-Mods. Here is the link.

Sorry man that wont work. That's to keep your board from warping. Reballing fixes the CPUs connections to the board.

This is what it says on the website with the Xclamp Fix Kit
Designed to fix
The components in this kit address practically all other errors, on all versions of XBOX except Slim. Three red light errors, RROD, freezing, overheating, no audio, no video, graphics errors, pixilation, GPU CPU errors, cold solder joints and the majority of 1 red light errors such as the prevalent E74.

That's marketing for you. They tell you lies to get you to buy it. Let me guess. It's from china?
