No, no. Everything is real. But it only exists when It is being perceived.

Put it this way: Everything that you cannot perceive does not exist unless it is already being perceived by another mind. As soon as you see something that isn't already being perceived, your mind forms that object or building or whatever it is.

This is a gross oversimplification but it's the foundation of it and it's easier to comprehend.

This is just a theory, but I think it's a pretty cool one.

Well I must have perceived this post as well, and Perceived this site, and everything in this so called "Fake world" So If I convince myself you don't exist, do you? In this world,that I have imagined basically. Your givnig me half the plot to the Matrix, now fit the other half in.
I'm not trying to disprove your theory, I just don't see how you can coexist in a world I perceive as my own.

I don't think you quite understand the theory and it isn't 'my' theory. Its just 'a' theory.

I'm understanding where this is going, but I don't think it's so. It is something to think about though. I'm sure stars and planets exist on the other side of the universe without a living thing perceiving it.

My teacher talked about this last year in one of my classes and my mind was blown. But I still think it is bullsh*t.

If I read the topic right you would be perceiving everything that exists in your world. While everyone else is doing the same for themselves. You can't convince yourself someone doesn't exist because in your perception they do. I have no idea if what I said makes any sense though...
