Well, honestly this topic can go both ways.

Yes, because, from playing video games and talking to people you can become allot more Socially Intelligent. And if it's not too much, everyone deserves a break and have fun, Video Games do just that.

And No, because, playing video games for an excessive amount of time in one day can actually lead to some health issues, such as eye problems, psychiatric problems etc. And video games are very addictive and easy to get caught up into. And because they are so addictive, allot of people become overweight over the years, because of how addictive video games really are. They get caught up in video games so much that it gets to the point where they never go outside and get any exercise.

Games have a positive, like we talk to friends over games and social on them. The negative is that some people think the games is there life and they have to play 24/7.

Have video games left a positive impact on the world?

Personally I say it has. I know some people say that gaming is making kids dummer and not smarter. Gaming does teach people hand eye cordination. Which can be valuable in their future.
Also with all the new technology gaming has brought forward it is giving the younger gereration a better chance with their own futures.

Well ... No

As a huge fan of video games (mostly everyone on TTG), video games leave more of a negative impact then a positive. One Example: Everyone loves the Call of Duty Series ! but you know you have been playing to long when you go to school and call people noobs, and trying to 360 throwing knifing kids with your pencil, and your trying to quickscope with a ruler, and T-Bagging everything you see on the ground 1234((. As many of you heard, since it was on the TTG News, that there was bomb threat from a Norwegian Killer, saying he used MW2 as his "Training Stimulator". Another Example is not leaving the house! Im sure every sees the commercial "Get up and play an Hour a Day!", but how you suppose to do that when you lock yourself in your room and slay dragons all night on Skyrim ! Video games leave a negative impact mostly on your Social Life, and your physical hygiene. Yeah maybe there is some positive impacts, like Hand Eye Coordination, and it may be an interesting way too learn, but physically and socially, its ruining your life.

So In conclusion, i believe that Video games (Especially Shooters) leave a negative impact, but us Humans do not realize it

Well....I'm unsure.

Some people take video games a bit too serious while others play it just for fun, which i don't mind, when i see someone get mad a video game and start swearing and screaming i think "Blame the player, not the game" un-less that other person is glitching or hacking, then i would say blame the game. Video games have changed out world ever since they introduced online gaming, right when Xbox live was released and the PlayStation network, i saw a huge change in the way people play gaming and how they react, true people still got mad at single player but not like how it is today for multiplayer gaming, a few years back, people were use to the A.I being very horrible, which i could see why, because back then the aspects of the game and the way the AI reacted is completely different than how it is today. Today we are able to make it look life like, but also, at the same time, get in our way. Some could say video games have ruined our childhood, well our generation, and although this could be true, think of all the games that are educational, they could help your child a lot, hell, it could help your child improve better than a teacher teaching you, now if we didn't have these type of games, just think, won't your kid be struggling in class if he/she didn't understand it? Yes, they could use the internet, but looking upon that, people who write up guides on how to solve it get a bit carried away and make it complicated, while in educational games, they show you step by step on how to solve it, and if you need more help, you could go back to it.

So i'm in a 50-50 position right now, people will say that yes it left a positive impact on the world, while others will say otherwise, all it is peoples opinions, im stuck in-between because some video games like above, have a great way to help your kids childhood, while my other side says that games like FPS, are taken too serious.

I wouldn't say that games have left a positive impact on the world, however they have most definitely brought new and innovative ideas to it such as kinect. There could be a huge advancement with kinect possibly leading to a positive gaming impact on the world. I feel certain games have left positive and negative effects such as the CoD games;

Positive

- Much amusement to many people

Negative

- Peple take the game far too seriously

My opinion has been noted

I honestly do not know. It has given lots of people hard times. Its a cool thing that happened to this world. But it also affected the world very crucialy.

Postitives:
Relieves depression, Can resolve boredness, And can create big imagination.

Negatives:
Can cause a life addiction, If the right condition, sickness and headaches. It can also cause seizures (again if the right condition), and lack of excercise.

So overall, There is no answer to that question in my opinion.
