A custom patch, is basically all the codes that make up the tenth lobbies. You can change all the text and add special codes to it to however you like.
A KV is a code extracted from a Jtagged xbox. You use this to unban your xbox. This is because Microsoft only bans the CPU key, and Key Vaults change it.
