ok, id get a falcon. every type of JTAG can take type 2 KVs but only Xenons can take type 1s. some people dont seem to have problems with their xenons but others seem to always get the RROD or some other stupid error. i have a falcon, and i was dumb and flashed a type 1 KV on. its fixed, but so far thats the only problem with it. id go with a Falcon, jaspers are too expensive and i hear you cant change the KVs without doing stupid ****. and the Jaspers are basically the same as Falcons but supossedly you can get RROD on Falcons? ive never had that to me and i leave me Falcon retail on for days on end.

I wouldn't really reccommend buying one unless you got the basics down... atleast.

I think there are some stickys that would help like changing a kv and all that stuff.

You made a mistake, falcon's can only take Type 2's
And I would get a xenon if you are starting out.

k thx i am checking them out now for the 5 time i want to get all this stuff for me to remember by heart

get xenon you can use any KV on it also from all the polls i have run the result for the best jtag has always been xenon add me on msn smokey_2k6 @ hotmail.com and i will try help as best as i can i will also send you the links to all the best tuts that helped me when i was starting up
