Yeah I was going with what laserzz said. If the Xbox was on when it grounded out it might have shorted something. I dont know THAT much about the Xbox to tell you exactly what it shorted but I hope someone can help you and you dont need to take it to a shop.

Try taken the 12 v fan mod out of the jtag it could be touching something cause a shortage

shorts usually make the xbox act dead, however if an electrial component fails on the motherboard it makes the xbox detect a failure (not getting correct voltage) and then give you an error

well, if its not the powe cord or anything, why not just boot into xell and reflash ur nand with ur back up one, maybe it'll fix it even though it has nothing to do with power cord

The console doesnt boot up it just flashes 3 lights and does absoltly nothing
