I want to buy a modded console to host cos modded lobbies and other basic games

What type of console should I buy?

Is it easy to learn?

Where should I buy from?

Anything else I should know please let me know.

What type of console should I buy?
If you want a phat console, Jaspers are the most reliable. If you want a slim console you can buy either a trinity or corona.

Is it easy to learn?
It's easier now then it's ever been in my opinion, plus there are tons and tons of YouTube videos you can watch to learn about RGH's before you buy one.

Where should I buy from?

Jaspers are the best for phat consoles
