Judging by your name you're clearly a l33t console hackzor, so resulting to insults won't go too well for you.

You clearly have no idea what VRAM actually does.. 4GB will be enough for 1080p gaming for a good while. Playing across multiple monitors isn't very practical with most games, so it wouldn't stress the GPU whatsoever by having multiple monitors as the game is only being rendered on one.

Maybe clue up on some facts before starting arguments and spreading BS around, especially as you are the one asking us for help.

CoronaV5 wrote This is on the same idea was my post below. Anyone know of a cheap 8gb Vram card? Of course "cheap" inst sub $250, but anything in the low $300's would be great. I am using this to run GTA 5, because the game eats Vram like hell.
I know what you mean but 6gb is enough 8GB is unnecessary

I was looking at this, but It used to be $270

I will go into detail. VRAM, unlike your computer RAM is located on the back of your GPU. This is high speed, and you have limited amounts of it. When you run out of VRAM, the system starts pulling from the computers RAM, which is slower, resulting in FPS drops. Clearly, you are not able to understand,

Thanks,

But like Zayev said, GTA which is one of the most VRAM demanding games has no problem on a 3.5/4GB 970? Please educate yourself.

How about I downloaded a mod, which enhances the foliage and increases the textures, which I most likely will be doing. 4gb of ram is enough, last time I checked it is not.

Feel free to provide a legitimate source which shows that 4GB isn't enough lol.

Funny you should know I actually run three on multiple games lmfao. Believe me buddy, I know. Educate yourself before you look like a dumbass in front of everyone.

Do I play max on all three? No, no one does unless they have multiple cards. GTA runs on High/Very high for me, Dayz runs on high, fallout runs High, battlefield runs maxed.

"Educate" yourself. If I feel that 8gb is enough, I am entitled to my own opinion. I only asked if anyone knew a cheap 8gb Video Card.
