linker300 wrote I personally own a 7870 2gb GHZ edition.. I am getting 90-130fps on BF3 on ultra settings. I would get this card. It saves you money and can run anything!

What the hell do you use along with that to get 90FPS on ultra? Do you play at 720p? Have you overclocked it super high?

Ha! honestly i havn't done anything with it.. it comes overclocked stock.. I have an i5 3570k, 8gb of ram, and my 7870 GHz edition. I thought that was just normal to get that high?

No, and these benchmarks are done with much more powerful systems.

Edit: Even the 7970 doesn't get 90.

My Card can definitely do ultra setting between 60-90fps. i just tested it..

Not at 1080p with full AA and all settings maxed out. It's actually not possible.

7950 is the fastest for a big price.

I use the 7870 and it's able to run any game at about 60 FPS on max settings (1920x1280).

I'm working on a video right now. I'm using camtasia or something like that and the recording makes it a little "choppier" than normal but FRAPS is still running fine and the settings are all maxed out with AA on max also.

You're not playing at 1080p, then. It's completely impossible that a 7870 is performing more like two 7870s.

Yeah your right i could not be playing at 1080p. My monitor is really crappy so i don't even think it would be able to do that... i will hook up my TV to my PC when i get home later, and i will test it and report my results
