I would go with the 7950, but there isn't much of a difference...If you would like to save $40 -$50 dollars then go with the 7870, but there isn't much of a huge difference. I say go wit the cheaper one

Well i want to play games on ultra settings with like 60 fps +, but the thing i hate about building a pc is buying windows 7 because it boosts my computer build price so high

The 7950 is the faster card, but it's more expensive. It's just a matter of a better-performing product costing more. Both are the best at their respective price points, so neither is better, per se.

Luckily programs like Windows 7 (and virtually everything other program in existence) can be downloaded and installed FOR FREE. It's quite simply actually, even if you have no experience installing an OS or dealing with torrents.

I recently built a computer and had to install Windows 7 for free and all I needed was a USB drive. That's how easy it is...

If you would like, I could PM with all the information you need.

I personally own a 7870 2gb GHZ edition.. I am getting 90-130fps on BF3 on ultra settings. I would get this card. It saves you money and can run anything!

What the hell do you use along with that to get 90FPS on ultra? Do you play at 720p? Have you overclocked it super high?

Ha! honestly i havn't done anything with it.. it comes overclocked stock.. I have an i5 3570k, 8gb of ram, and my 7870 GHz edition. I thought that was just normal to get that high?

EDIT: After Checking again.. When i set the Graphics to Ultra Settings on BF3, I get 60-90fps sorry, my mistake. If i have most of the settings on ultra and the antiscopic filtering or whatever lower, i get 90-130 and the game looks amazing still. But still for a $250 card, this baby is a beast.

No, and these benchmarks are done with much more powerful systems.

Edit: Even the 7970 doesn't get 90.
