I have a HD Pvr and the quality is amazing but there a bit on the pricey side so go with what ever you can afford or save up if you really want one ;D

I have no idea why you would need to spend $60 on "HD cables" if you're talking about HDMI, the hauppauge doesn't take HDMI, or 1080p, the HD colour cords are only like $15

and I have one, and I do not regret buying it at all, it's definitely worth it, BUT only if you plan on going serious with YouTube, if you're only making vids to make your friends laugh or what ever, I'd sugest you keep the money..

Yeah like said before, if you get some good render settings the quality comes out crystal clear.

No I don't mean HDMI cables. I checked Future Shop and the HD color cords are 49.99. My friend also has an HD PVR and that is what he paid for them.

Prefertile wrote Honest opinion, a roxio will get the job done for like $150 cheaper. Get the right settings and it's all clear, not as clear as a PVR but clear enough for people to see what's going on. That's my opinion though.

I heard that the Roxio had some audio problems. If they are fixable, I may go with a Roxio
